COUNTY OF ETOWAH

CITY OF RAINBOW CITY, ALABAMA – PLANNING COMMISSION – MARCH 25, 2008

The Planning Commission of the City of Rainbow City, Alabama met in a regular session at 4:00 P.M. and upon roll call the following members were present:

Wes Ellis, Vice Chairman

Bryan Stone, Council Member

Elbert Tarvin

Jerry Tolbert

Mona Wallace

Larry Harris

Sam Wilson

Also Present:

Wiley McLain, Building Official Laura Lloyd, City Attorney

Doug Waldrup, City Engineer

1. Upon roll call, Chairman Moon declared a quorum was present and the following

business was transacted.

2. The minutes from February 26, 2008 were presented. Bryan Stone moved and

Wes Ellis seconded the motion to suspend the reading of the minutes and

approve the minutes as presented. Motion carried unanimously.

3. Eddie Perman, PECO Engineering, was present with the site plans for Drs. Mike and

Leslie McClellan’s new office complex located at 3731 Rainbow Drive. Simms

Architectural Services from Birmingham will be designing the building. Trent

Thrasher Construction will be doing the construction work. After reviewing the site

plans, Wes Ellis moved and Larry Harris seconded the motion to approve the site

plans subject to the staff review comments having been completed. Motion carried

unanimously.

4. There being no other business to come before The Planning Commission, Bryan

Stone moved to adjourn.
