The City Council of the City of Rainbow City, Alabama, met in a special called meeting at City Hall at 12:00 noon, and upon roll call by Barbara T. Wester, City Clerk, the following business was transacted.
l. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Terry John Calhoun.
2. Mayor Calhoun presented Resolution No. 08-13, canvassing the results of the election which was held on August 26, 2008. Lloyd Matthews moved and Bryan Stone seconded the motion to adopt the resolution. Mayor Calhoun declared the motion carried.
Mayor Calhoun then presented Certificates of Election to himself, Anita Bedwell, Robert (Bobby) McCartney, Jr., Larry Keenum and Kris Cornutt.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, Bryan Stone made a motion to adjourn.
