CITY OF RAINBOW CITY, ALABAMA – PLANNING COMMISSION – NOVEMBER 2, 2005

 

The Planning Commission of the City of Rainbow City, Alabama met in a special called session at 4:00 P.M. and upon roll call the following members were present:

 1.  Upon roll call, Acting Chairman Wes Ellis declared a quorum was present and the following

      business was transacted.

 

 2.  The final plat was presented by Court Barber for Lakewood Court Subdivision located on

       Lakewood Road.  At this time, Mr. Barber has surveyed two (2) lots from the original plat.  Mr.

       Barber stated that the natural gas easement had been moved from the preliminary plat to the

       final and that was the only change on the plat.  Mr. Vince Pentecost, an attorney representing

       Dr. Ron Hanson, was present to voice his complaint about Mr. Barber being allowed to build

       these two (2) homes.  Mr. Pentecost was informed that this was not a public hearing.  The

       public hearing for this subdivision was held at the September 27, 2005 meeting.  After

      discussion, Thomas Moon moved and Jerry Tolbert seconded the motion to give final approval

      on these two (2) lots of Lakewood Court Subdivision.  Motion carried unanimously. 

 

 3.  There being no further business on the agenda, Bryan Stone moved to adjourn.
