The City Council of the City of Rainbow City, Alabama met in a special called council meeting at City Hall at 8:00 a.m., and upon roll call by the City Clerk, Barbara T.Wester, the following members answered present:
Terry John Calhoun, Mayor
Council members:
Cora Kelly
Bobby McCartney
Lloyd Matthews
Bryan Stone, absent
Kris Cornutt
The same constituting a quorum of the City Council, the following business was transacted.
1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Calhoun.
2. Mayor Calhoun stated that this council meeting was called to post a job because of the resignation of Andrew Stanley, effective June 28, 2007. Cora Kelly moved and Kris Cornutt seconded the motion to post a police officer position, and close June 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, Kris Cornutt made a motion to adjourn.
