SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
The City Council of the City of Rainbow City, Alabama, met in a special called council meeting at City Hall at 4:00 p.m., and upon roll call by the City Clerk, Barbara T. Wester, the following members answered present:
Terry John Calhoun, Mayor
Council members:
Cora Kelly
Bobby McCartney
Lloyd Matthews
Bryan Stone
Kris Cornutt
The same constituting a quorum of the City Council, the following business was transacted.
1. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Calhoun. He stated the purpose of the meeting is to discuss the drainage grant for the trailer parks, and asked for discussion.
Discussion followed. Mayor Calhoun presented Resolution No. 07-03 concerning the grant and the city’s match of $l03,000.00. Bryan Stone moved and Cora Kelly seconded the motion to adopt the resolution. Mayor Calhoun declared the motion carried.
2. Mayor Calhoun recognized Diane McClellan with East Alabama Regional Planning. She stated that she wanted to thank the council for giving her the opportunity to work on this project.
There being no further business to come before the council at this time, Bryan Stone made a motion to adjourn.
