 Rainbow City Public Library was established in 1981 and currently has over 14,000 registered borrowers.
We have 58,002 volumes as of 2009 which includes 52,902 books; 1331 videos & dvds; 2745 audio books (includes cassettes & cds); & 218 music cds. In fiscal year 2008, patrons borrowed over 130,000 items.
The Library offers a variety of services including reference, interlibrary loan, story time, and sponsors an annual summer reading program. In addition, the Library provides access to Internet-connected computers and the Alabama Virtual Library.
