Ryan Ramsey, Eagle Scout, Revitalizes Rainbow City Landing

Ryan Ramsey of Rainbow City completed his service project for the rank of Eagle Scout.  He along with his Rainbow City Troop 92 fellow scout, troop leaders, family, and friends revitalized the Rainbow Landing Park by re-landscaping and replacing the Rainbow Landing sign.  They also painted all of the pavilions and painted the eaves of the restrooms located in the park.

Local businesses including Chappell Landscaping, Burns Fabricating, Simmons Signs, Don’s Paint, Rainbow Powder Coating, Landcrafters, and the city of Rainbow City donated time and materials towards making the project a great success.  The finishing touch on Ryan’s project will be in the Spring when he plans to plant trees that will one day serve as welcome shade to families picnicking at Rainbow Landing.
