DESCRIPTION:TO BE HELD AT 5:00 p.m., FEBRUARY 14, 2022 IN THE CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE RAINBOW CITY MUNICIPAL BUILDING.\nDiscussion will be held concerning Ordinance No. 557, an ordinance to amend the Wrecker Service Rotation Program Ordinance No. 527 amending Section 2, 2.02, 2.06 and Section 7, 7.01 B. This ordinance will repeal all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance. Ordinance No. 557 amends the following:\nSection 2: Steps Required To Be Placed On The Rotation List To Provide Wrecker Services\n2.02 No wrecker service shall engage in business or offer such service within the city without obtaining a license for each tov, truck to do business in the city from the Director of Revenue of the city and without first obtaining a permit from the Chief of Police for each tow truck to be operated as provided in this ordinance.\n2.06 The nonrefundable fee for processing the rotation; application shall be Fifty Dollars ($50.00). One truck per application fee.\nSection 7: Insurance\n7.01 B. (2) Minimum garage keeper’s liability policy per occurrence (includes fire, explosion, theft, riot, vandalism, collision): $200,000 Was $750,000\nTHE PURPOSE OF THE HEARING IS TO RECEIVE PUBLIC COMMENTS.\nLegal notices of the public hearing have been posted as required by law at:\n \n1.
